Some framed reprints of the photos in our gallery already feature in homes in Canada and the U.S. If photos of nature make you happy, consider purchasing one or more of our prints for you to frame and display.
100% of the profits we raise go directly to advocacy groups on a rotational basis. See ADVOCACY.
Every photo in our galleries was taken from land, consistent with our commitment to ZERO IMPACT. For marine animals, this means we do not invade their home habitat by venturing in or on the ocean.
By photographing quietly from shore, we assure whales’ freedom from stress and disturbance. In environmental economics terms, this is considered “non-consumptive use.” In a nutshell, non-consumptive use of a natural resource is a practice that does not reduce, harvest, destroy, or physically alter the resource itself. For orcas, this means they get to forage and swim unencumbered by vessel noise, pursuit, flanking or clustering.
Our images were taken at closer range than would be possible by tour boats due to regulations when pods voluntarily swam near shore or using powerful zoom lenses. In the case of the aurora borealis, wide-angle lenses were employed.
We offer print size up to 11″x14″ with professional mat finish and may accommodate special orders for large, custom canvas prints as show in the photo. Please email us to see if your selection is eligible for canvas printing. Digital files are not provided due to extra copyright challenges.
